Equine Massage and PEMF Sessions
I developed an interest in body work as a teenager as my barrel horse seemed to always be tight in her shoulder and I would try my best to keep her more comfortable with what little knowledge I had. I was able to continue to develop these skills with my second barrel horse as he had a tight lower back and right stifle issue. Fast foward to my late 20s, I was looking to focus my career back into horses, so in the fall of 2017 I was able to take a course to develop my knowledge on equine anatomy and massage and in 2018 I officially started to offer massage sessions! I had long been intrigued by what PEMF could help our horses with and I decided to make the purchase of the machine in 2021 and add PEMF sessions to my roster.

Bodywork Options:

Massage sessions are a great way to help your horse release tension, improve their physical and mental performance, increase their flexibility and range of motion, and increase circulation to help aid muscle recovery. Sessions range from 40-60 minutes depending on the horse and how they feel. Cost per session is $75

PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Frequency) sessions are a great way to support your horses joints, skeletal structure, and soft tissues. PEMF can also support mares with cycling issues. This is great to add in for performance horses. Sessions can range from 30-50 minutes depending on the horse and how they feel, as well as if there are any specific areas of focus. Cost per session ranges from $75-100.

Massage and be done in conjunction with PEMF and these sessions range from 60-90mins. The cost per session for a combination session is $125.

The most frequently asked questions is which session type is best for your horse, but that all depends on your horse and how they feel after. As well, some horses just seem to prefer one session over the other!
